A group of veterinary nursing students from the University of Development Studies has been touring the KNUST veterinary teaching hospital.
The visit led by Dr. Hafiz Sulemana Abubakari and Dr. Samuel Opoku ware, lectures from UDS veterinary nursing department was meant to familiarize themselves with the facility.
“We are aware that management of this school intends to set the highest standard for veterinary practice in the country.
“We have realized from the comments that the students' appreciation for the field of veterinary medicine and science has increased,” they were satisfied.
Some of the students were hopeful of furthering their education at KNUST SVM to become Veterinary doctors.
Dr. Oliver Boakye and Dr. James Worlanyo were available to take them on the tour around the facility.
“We are looking forward to having a number of them join this coming September as national service personnel as a lot of them expressed interest in joining us,” Dr. Oliver Boakye said.
